Site work and paving for a road / highway in Americus, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work to be performed shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the project entitled 2024 LRA Paving, Striping and Guardrail Construction as shown in the Contract Documents. In general, construction consists of approximately 33.71 miles of Striping and 3.79 miles of Plant Mix Leveling, Resurfacing & Striping on various county roads in Sumter County; and the installation of approximately 200 feet of Guardrail on Middle River Road. Questions need to be directed ONLY by e-mail to Jim Littlefield, Public Works Director, (jlittlefield@sumtercountyga.us). This work will be awarded in one contract. The work shall be fully completed within 180 consecutive calendar days from the date notice to proceed is given. All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent ( 10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond. each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Sumter County reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any and all lawful reasons.
