As of April 23, 2025, all bids were rejected, and the project has been canceled. Contract No. 1 - New 500 GPM Water Well & Booster Station Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material and/or supply needs. Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids are expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the ARPA Rural Water Association Infrastructure Grant (RWAIG). Neither the State of Mississippi, the Local Governments and Rural Water Systems Improvements Board, nor any of their employees is or will be a party to this invitation for bids or any resulting or related contracts. This procurement will be subject to all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated, as they apply to local governments, in accordance with RWAIG Program Regulations. Bidders who wish to submit bids electronically in lieu of a sealed bid may submit their bid through online. Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at the office of Dungan Engineering, P. A., located at 120 E Chickasaw St, Brookhaven, MS 39601, 601-823-7026 or online. Documents are nonrefundable and must be purchased through the website to be on the official plan holders list.
