Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Dover, Delaware. Design plans call for the construction of a 70,000-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
As of September 8, 2025, an architect has been selected for the project. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Scope of Work/ Services The Vendor(s) shall provide all equipment, materials, software, and labor to supplement the Universitys need for this contract as described herein in Appendix A. The contract will require the Vendor(s) to cooperate with the University to insure the University receives the most current state-of-the-art material and/or services. The term of the contract between the successful bidder and the University shall be for Five (5) years. There is an option to renew the contract for Three (3) one year extensions by negotiation Deadline for Questions 10/18/2024 Deadline for Questions (10:00AM) Posting of Answers to contractor questions 11/1/2024 Posting of Answers to Contractor Questions The Delaware State University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or any part ofany proposal, to waive defects, technicalities or any specifications (whether they be in the Delaware State Universitys specifications or vendors response), The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
