Antenna Tower Repainting The contractor will provide labor, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to paint the tower as specified herein complete. The specific tasks include the following: . Submit painting plans showing: a. Safety & environmental plan to include but not limited to methods of abatement, methods of containment, training, hand and face washing stations, and/or housekeeping approaches. Contractor must provide at least (2) references of prior antenna tower painting jobs that may or may not include lead removal. Referrals must state the following: 1- Name of the company/agency 2- Contact Person and telephone number 4- Title of position. Contact person must be reachable otherwise bid may be rejected. Provide on company letterhead years of experience in lead removal. 5- Height of the antenna tower Written Question Due - 10/1/24 at 2pm Questions and Answers Released- 10/3/24 at 2pm The amendments from the job walk are as follows: 1. No water is available at the job location. 2. Tower treatment before paint is to be described as: "Removal of loose of flaking paint, areas remaining to be spot primed." 3. Items or areas that will not need to be painted are as follows: a. Any coaxial cable b. Any standoff arms that are for antenna support, off-branching from the tower structure. c. The climbing ladder d. Any grounding features (buss bars, grounding leads) 4. Area to be painted: the concrete tower foundation, directly beneath the tower steel structure. County reserves the right to waive, at its sole discretion, any formality in the bidding or evaluation in order to expedite the process, accommodate minor error, or respond to unforeseen circumstances, and to reject any or all bids and to reject any items thereon. County may, at its sole discretion, cancel this solicitation at any time prior to Award. County reserves the right to conduct a reasonable inquiry to determine the responsibility of a bidder. The unreasonable failure of bidder to promptly supply information in connection with such inquiry, including, but not limited to, information regarding past performance, financial stability and ability to perform on schedule, may, at County's discretion, be grounds for a determination of non-responsibility.
