The City of Middletown will accept bids from interested suppliers to furnish and deliver various piping, hydrants, manholes, valves, fittings and other appurtenances, as required by the Water and Sewer Department to include but not limited to: I. Curb boxes, gate boxes, adapters and extensions II. Bronze Goods and Miscellaneous Valves III. Service saddles, repair sleeves and couplings IV. Hydrants and hydrant extensions V. Resilient wedge gate valves, tapping sleeves, tapping valves, fittings, retainer glands and accessories VI. Ductile Iron Piping VII. PVC Piping VIII. PVC Fittings IX. Flexible Couplings X. Precast Concrete Manhole Sections XI. Manhole Frames, Covers and Appurtenance It is the intent of the City to establish a term contract for the purchase of these items with firm pricing for a contract term of twelve (12) months to commence on or after November 1, 2024 and terminate October 31, 2025. It is the City's intent to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder(s) submitting the lowest bid per category, however the City reserves the right to award in whichever way fits the best interests of the City of Middletown.
