Site work for a water / sewer project in Ashland, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope ofwork is for the in-kind replacement of existing 8" diameter clay sanitary sewer lines with approximately 345 L.F. of new 8" PVC SDR35 diameter sanitary sewer lines on Carr Street/Packard Avenue, the in-kind replacement of existing 8" diameter clay sanitary sewer lines with approximately 504 L.F. of new 8" PVC SDR35 diameter sanitary sewer lines on Iroquois Avenue, connecting of new sewerlinesto existing manholes, connecting ofnew sewerlinesto existing sewerlines, reconnection of service laterals, installation ofWYE cleanouts, site grading, demolition and reinstallation ofa section of retainingwall, and related appurtenances, together with all related work asspecified and shown on the Drawings. Each BIDDER must deposit with his Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No BIDDER maywithdraw his Bid within ninety (90) consecutive calendar days afterthe actual date of the opening thereof. Question Deadline 10/25/2024. All Contractors questions regarding this project must be in writing and e-mailed to scole@ashlandky.gov at least 5 days prior to the bid date. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
