Site work for a water / sewer project in Longwood, Florida. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bid is Cancelled. This contract comprises the in-place abandonment of an existing asbestos water main and construction of a new water main along Sandalwood Way between Rangeline Road and West church Avenue. The project includes the following items of work, which include, but are not limited to: The construction includes directional drill of 8" PE, 6" PE and 2" PE water mains, as well as open cut installation of 8", and 2" Water Mains. Additionally, the side streets of Clove Ct, Larch Ct. and Cashew Ct will receive new water 6" mains. The existing water main of 3810- ft 8" asbestos pipe will be removed from service, fully grouted and capped, along with the reconnection of all existing meter services to the new water main. Ancillary work such as valves, fire hydrants, and blow offs are included. As a Bid Alternative to directional drilling, a bid tab is included for open cut construction.
