Renovation of a laboratory facility in East Lansing, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
Question Deadline 04/25/2025 at 2:00 PM ET Replace existing curtain wall windows and some aluminum framed punched opening windows totaling approximately 10,000-12,000 sq.ft of opening. Openings will be replaced on a one-for-one basis with no reduction in glazing The Bidding Documents include either the attached Schedule of prevailing rates of wages and fringe benefits for all classes of Construction Mechanics called for in the Bid and resulting Contract, if any, or the attached current prevailing wage determination issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, as applicable depending on the funding source(s). Each Bid shall enclose Bid Security, as specified in Section 00100 Instructions to Bidders (and as specified in Section 00310 Bid Bond, if a Bid Bond is enclosed), in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bidder's Base Bid. Performance Bond and a Payment Bond Are Required for All Bids Over $50,000.00. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied By A Five (5) Percent Bid Guarantee. Builders Risk Insurance Is Required to Be Provided by the Contractor Unless Otherwise Indicated in the Bid Documents The Owner reserves the right to correct any error in any Request for Payment that may have been paid. The Owner reserves the right, should proof of Defective Work be discovered after final payment, to claim and recover from the Contractor and/or the Contractor's surety, sufficient sums to correct or remove and replace the Defective Work
