Site work and paving for a civil project in Lower Brule, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; water / sewer project; and for paving for a road / highway.

Bids are invited upon four master meter vaults. Each site includes the following items: 1. Fill material for driveway, access road and site grading as appropriate for each site. 2. 12-inch CMP culvert (at some locations) 3. Precast concrete vault 4. Pipe, fittings, supports and related items in the vault 5. Tees, bypass valve and connections to existing pipe 6. Ductile iron pipe and valves that branch off to the vault 7. Sump with pump, pipe, valves, fittings and related items 8. Basic electrical system with switch, light fixture, receptacle and connection for portable generator, powered by owner-furnished generator 9. Wood plank fence with sign 10. Gravel surfacing 11. Seeding and fertilizing Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft payable to the order of the Lower Brule Rural Water Service in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. A bid bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid will be accepted in lieu of a certified check or bank draft. Surety for bid bond must be authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota. A paper copy of the contract documents and plans can be ordered with a non-refundable payment of $20 plus applicable sales taxes. with a non-refundable payment of $20. Upon request, one copy of the contract documents and plans will be furnished at no charge as required by SDCL 5-18B-1 to each contractor who is a South Dakota resident and who intends to bid the project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding and make awards to the Owner's best interest.
