Site work and renovation of a civil project in Mantua, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,918-square-foot, one-story above grade water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Wastewater Treatment Plant Headworks & Electrical Improvements Project. Proposals Will Be Received for the Following Items of Work: Village of Mantua Wastewater Treatment Plant Headworks & Electrical Improvements the Contractor Shall Provide All Labor, Material, and Equipment Necessary to Construct a New Wastewater Treatment Headworks Facility. The New Facility Shall Have a Mechanical Bar Screen With a Washing and Compacting Unit, a Grit Collector and Separating System, Influent Wet Well With Two (2) Dry-pit Pumps, a Small Plant Drain Submersible Pump Station, New Electrical Room With Main Power and Feeds, and an Hvac System. This Project Also Includes Site Work for a New Water Service, Grading, and Removal and Replacement of Concrete Drive. After Completion of the New Electrical Room, Contractor Shall Remove Electrical Equipment in the Existing Headworks Building. Estimated Costs of Construction: Village of Mantua Wastewater Treatment Plant Headworks & Electrical Improvements, Complete: $6,200,000.00 the Contractor Shall Familiarize Himself With All of Section 20, Including 'information and Instructions to Bidders' and 'special Construction Requirements' Prior to Bidding. The Bid Guarantee is Conditioned to Provide That if the Bid is Accepted and Awarded, the Bidder Will Enter Into a Contract With the County and Will File a Performance Bond as Required. The Bidder to Whom the Contract is Awarded Will Be Required to Furnish a Performance Bond in the Sum of 100 Percent of the Contract Price for the Faithful Performance of the Contract. If the Bidder Selects "Bid Guarantee" Option a, the Bidder May Use This Bond as the Performance Bond. Each Proposal Must Contain the Full Name of the Party or Parties Submitting the Documentation and All Persons Interested Therein. Each Bidder Must Submit Evidence of Its Experiences on Projects of Similar Size and Complexity. The Bidder Shall Purchase the Plans and a Contract Book to Become a Qualified Participant Before Final Bid Submittal. The Owner Intends and Requires That the Project Be Completed No Later Than Seven Hundred and Twenty (720) Calendar Days After the "Notice to Proceed" is Issued and Complete Restoration Within Thirty (30) Days Thereafter. Each Proposal Must Be Sealed and Marked "village of Mantua Wastewater Treatment Plant Headworks & Electrical Improvements, Project No. Mv-0 (21-190)". Domestic Steel Use Requirements as Specified in Section 153.011 of the Revised Code Apply to This Project. Copies of Section 153.011 of the Revised Code Can Be Obtained From Any of the Offices of the Ohio Department of Administrative Services. This Project Will Be Funded by the Water Pollution Control Loan Fund Program as Administered by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and the Ohio Water Development Authority. The Contractor Shall Note That There Are Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation Goals for This Project. This Procurement is Subject to the Epa Policy on Encouraging the Participation of Small Business in Rural Areas (Sbras). The Portage County Commissioners Reserve the Right to Waive Any Informality or to Reject Any and All Bids.
