The lonia County Road Department is seeking bids to perform maintenance projects on three (3) bridges, SN-4031, SN-4054, and SN-4064. Funding for Bridges SN-4054 & SN-4064 is available and ICRD would like this work completed during this construction season. Funding for Bridge 4031 is not yet finalized but ICRD would like bids for this project along with a date after which it would not be possible to complete during this construction season. All work shall be done per the 2020 Michigan Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction. Bidders should submit their bid on the blank form which is part of this RFP. The bid shall be legibly prepared in ink or typed. The bidder must initial any erasures or alterations Bids must be signed in ink by an official authorized to bind the Bidder to its provisions for at least a period of at least one hundred eighty (180) days from the due date of this RFP The County of lonia, Its board members, and the lonia County Road Department reserve the right to reject any and all bids or to waive or not to waive informalities or irregularities therein, and to accept or further negotiate any bids which, in their opinion, may be most advantageous and in the best interest of lonia County and the ICRD. Once bids are opened, they become the property of the County of lonia and may be subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act. The cost of responding to this Bid Request will be solely the responsibility of the firm submitting the bid
