The Town of Waterford is looking for proposals from qualified licensed contractors to provide exterior chimney masonry repairs for the Historical Jordan Park House. As herein described, the Town of Waterford invites bids to satisfy the requirements set forth in this IFB. The Town of Waterford intends to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to award each contract to the bidder who is most responsive to the interests of the Town. Question Submission Deadline: October 31, 2024, 3:00pm All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted through the Town's e-Procurement Portal . If the total amount of the bid submitted exceeds $50,000, or if the bid contains any add alternates and the combination of the base bid plus all add alternates exceeds $50,000, then the bid must be accompanied by a CERTIFIED CHECK or a BID BOND, signed by a responsible Surety, in the amount of 10% of the total amount of the tendered bid and made payable to the order of the Town of Waterford. BIDDER must agree to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written Notice to Proceed from the OWNER and to fully complete the project within 120 consecutive calendar days thereafter. Bidder must agree also to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $1,000 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as hereinafter provided in the GENERAL CONDITIONS.
