Project College Highway Streetlight LED Upgrades Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Quote is for upgrading 45 streetlights with LED lights on College Highway. All quotes for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended. No Quote may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the submission. Wages are subject to Massachusetts minimum wage rates as per MGL Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, inclusive. Owner reserves the right to formally waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids, or to accept any Quote in which in their opinion, is in the public interest to do so. The Scope of Work includes conversion of 45 decorative streetlights to direct power retrofit LED lamps along College Highway between #'s 454 and 673. Thirteen (13)streetlights were previously converted. Work includes disconnecting the existing ballast and rewire the fixture lamp socket to the existing photo eye. Existing lights are 295 watt metal halide lamps. Proposed lights are 80 watt LED corncob lamps (ballasts removed from circuit). See attached cut sheets (no substitutions). Work shall be completed no later than December 31, 2024.
