Gargon Terrace and Depot Street Sidewalk Replacement. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Bid is for removing existing sidewalks and installing new sidewalks on Gargon Terrace and Depot Street in Southwick. Bidders shall furnish a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid price with the signed Bid. The Bidder must be bondable for the stated size of any project where the work is requested by the Town. Bid is for removing existing sidewalks and installing new sidewalks on Gargon Terrace and Depot Street in the Town of Southwick, MA (Town) on a unit price basis and at prevailing wages. The locations and nature of work are: o Gargon Terrace from #4 to #28 o Approximately 1,100 feet long o Proposed sidewalk is 5 feet wide. Existing sidewalk is 4 +/- feet wide. o 2 stumps near # 8 will be removed by others prior to construction o Depot Street from #6 to #10 o Approximately 140 feet long o Proposed sidewalk is 5 feet wide. Existing sidewalk is 4 feet wide. The Town intends to accomplish the work within the term of this Contract; however the Town reserves the right at its sole discretion to modify the amount of work, if any at all, to be performed.
