As of June 11, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. Description of Work: Project is to abandon approximately 10,000 linear feet (LF) of existing 4- to 10-inch water line in residential areas, and to replace with 8- to 10-inch water line. Scope includes: Open cut installation Incorporating associated components such as gate valves, water meters, and fire hydrants. All other information relating to this project is contained within the attached Contract Documents. A cashier's check, a certified check, or a surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Deposits will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. Deposits will be returned to successful bidder upon execution of contract documents. Bids shall also be made in accordance with the prevailing hourly rate of wages for this locality and project as determined by the Commission of Labor and filed with the Secretary of State in accordance with the provisions of 40 O.S. 1971, 197.1-17, which prevailing hourly rate of wages is made a part of this notice by reference as though fully set forth herein. The City Council of the City of Lawton Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
