Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Joplin, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Project involves improvements across the 95-acre Dover Outdoor Recreation Area including parking lots, lighting, a bridge, 10 miles of bike trails, pavilions, a children's bike park, and other bike-centric amenities. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects or to reject any or all bids and to re-advertise and to rebid. As bid security, BIDDER provides herewith a Bid Bond (Cashier's check, Certified check), in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount, to become the property of the Owner as liquidated damages without condition, at the Owner's option in the event the BIDDER fails to enter into an Agreement, and/or deliver the Bonds and other contract documents within the period of time herein previously established. No Bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. A PERFORMANCE BOND and a PAYMENT BOND, each in the amount of 100% of the CONTRACT PRICE, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Receipt of questions will be confirmed via email within 24 hours. Bidders must consider the absence of a receipt as an unreceived question. A final addendum will be issued on or before October 31, 2024.
