Renovation of a museum in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
As of November 14,2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The City of Gloucester seeks sealed bids, Bid #25023, for the Window and Door Replacement at Fitz Henry Lane House. DCAMM Certified General Contractors are sought for the following category: "Doors and Windows". Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. A bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid price must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment and Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid price. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept that which is deemed in the best interest of the City. The City shall not be responsible for bids arriving late for any reason. This project consists of the following: 1. Abate, remove, dispose & replace in kind all windows in the building 2. Refinish & Repaint the exsting doors & all existing frames, and install a new Solid WD door in the existing frame of the one removed. Question Deadline 10/23/2024 Any prospective bidder requesting a change in or interpretation of existing specifications of terms and conditions must do so at least (5) days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, before the scheduled bid opening date.
