Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Elgin, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 175,703-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The project is tax exempt. This is a wage rates project. There will not be a site visit. The new facility will consist of multiple two-story steel framed classroom wings, each with a footprint of approximately 22,000 square feet. There will also be a separate masonry Field House that will be located near the future track and field, and a similar building that will house the OSSF Equipment. The rest of the scope items will be bid as GMP02 in August 2025. ATTENTION: PLEASE BREAK OUT ALL BIDS BY THE FOLLOWING: 1. BUILDING 2. SITEWORK FOR ELGIN MIDDLE SCHOOL 3. TXDOT ROAD WIDENING WORK This project will be a ground-up construction of a state-of-the-art facility designed to serve up to 1,200 students. The files provided are the 75% CD documents package that will be Bid for GMP01 scope items ONLY. The GMP01 scope items consist of building concrete, site concrete, structural steel fabrication & erection, earthwork, erosion control, and site utilities.
