Question Deadline 12/06/2024 at 12:00 PM ET Questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Standby Generator for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project known as Standby Generator. The work for which proposals are invited consists of addition of a 200-250 KW emergency generator and automatic transfer system to the water treatment plant to ensure uninterrupted operation of the plant if the grid power is lost. The generator will be an outdoor rated, self-contained system that is connected to an automatic transfer switch. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the Proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on the projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. The Owner intends and requires that the project be completed no later than April 1, 2025. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of this project. Additionally, Contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Miami County as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration. . The Village of Laura reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive any informalities in the bidding, and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom in their consideration offered the lowest and best proposal
