City of North Chicago 2024 Alley Program Work description: The Project includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and other items necessary for hot-mix asphalt removal; aggregate base repair (undercuts), base course grading, placement of hot-mix asphalt binder and surface course; restoration, and all other items of Work in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security equal to five (5) percent of the Bid in the form of a Bid Bond written by a company properly licensed in Illinois, a certified check or a cashier's check. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Contract bond as required in the Specifications and Contract Documents, equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price.
