Site work for a municipal facility in Vernon, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) owns and operates the Greater Vernon Diversion and Disposal Facility (GVDDF). There is currently a large amount of waste "New Drywall" stored on site. The RDNO wishes to relocate and dispose of this stockpile on site at the GVDDF. The RDNO is seeking a suitably qualified Contractor to load, haul and place the "New Drywall" that is currently stored in a single stockpile. The material should not require any special handling as the stockpile consists of only "New Drywall" based on screening of inbound drywall loads arriving at the GVDDF. Inbound loads of "Demolition or Renovation Drywall" were not directed to this stockpile. Inbound loads of drywall known or suspected to contain asbestos were not directed to this stockpile.
