Report Number: 6724-4370 WASHINGTON COUNTY, TEXAS (Owner) is requesting lump sum sealed competitive proposals from qualified Contractors for construction of the Washington County Jail Additions & Renovations, located at 1206 Old Independence Rd. in Brenham, Texas, in accordance with Government Code, Section 2269.151. 5% bid bond. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds required. Payments to be made monthly to selected Contractor based on 95% of work completed. Award of proposal will be based on evaluation criteria stated in the proposal documents in accordance with Texas Government Code, Section 2269.154. Owner may hold proposals for 60 days. Construction Budget is $2,200,000.00. The Project will be financed with assistance from the U.S. Department of Treasury under the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF/ARPA) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations.
