The Town of Waterford (Town) on behalf of its Oswegatchie Building Committee is seeking competitive bids from qualified contractors to provide consulting services to conduct a survey and perform testing to identify hazardous materials that may exist at the fire station which may include; a lead risk assessment, asbestos, mold and radon inspection and analysis. Services will be required on an as-needed basis as this project progresses. Question Deadline 10/24/2024 at 3:00 PM ET Question Response Deadline: October 25, 2024, 3:00pm All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted through the online The Town intends to award a (12) month contract with the option of two (2) one-year renewal terms. On (60) days advance written notice, the Town may renew the 2024 contract per the same terms and conditions. All renewal terms (one-year extensions) are at the sole discretion of the Town of Waterford. Bidder understands that the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities in the bidding. Bidders are required to provide full details of any exceptions to the attached specifications. Details must be submitted separately and attached to the proposal page. The Town of Waterford retains the right to accept or reject any or all exception(s). Prices must remain firm from the date of award through the first (12) months of the contract period. After the initial (12) months prices may be subject to increase at minimum (12) month intervals. The Town reserves the right to reject any requested price increase deemed excessive in the opinion of the Town and cancel the contract. The Contractor must submit a formal request for an increase to the Purchasing Department, no later than thirty (30) days prior to the effective price increase date. The request shall contain the date the increase takes effect. No retroactive price increases will be allowed. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
