PROJECT SCOPE OF WORK (included but not limited to): The scope of work includes the complete modernization of fifteen (15) traction passenger elevators and two (2) hydraulic passenger elevators. This project will address all necessary updates to comply with current building, industry, and code standards and all necessary engineering, labor, materials, transportation, services, and equipment required by the Project Contract Documents to complete the work. The contract also includes interim preventive maintenance during the modernization phase and 24 months of warranty maintenance upon completion of the last elevator. PROJECT CONSTRUCTION PHASE The contractor shall provide a minimum of three (3) modernization crews until project completion with no more than one (1) elevator out in each group simultaneously. The schedule in Appendix XYZ...shall be completed by each contractor with their proposed schedule for the project. Each schedule will be reviewed and scored as part of this submission. The client can at any time re-prioritize an elevator's modernization sequence in the event it is in need of a major repair or the elevator has reoccurring service calls that are higher than deemed acceptable by LAUSD and/or LAUSD's elevator consultant. CONTRACT BOND ESTIMATE The District's Contract Bond Estimate is $14,142,000.00. Last Day for Request for Clarification December 13, 2024. Issue FINAL Addenda by December 16, 2024. Anticipated Start Date of Notice to Proceed January 2025. Substantial Completion (790 calendar days after NTP date) March 2027. Final Completion (820 calendar days after NTP date) April 2027.
