The Elizabeth City Housing Authority, (ECHA) is requesting proposals forthe Unit Renovations/Turnarounds of various apartments of public housingapartments. The Scope of Work Package is available by contacting SandraPerry. Attention is hereby called to the provisions of Equal Employment Opportunity. Firms are required to complywith the guidelines for the recruitmentof Minority Business Enterprise (MBE),Women-Owned Business Enterprise(WBE), Section 3 Business (with encouragement to employ Housing Authority residents) or Disadvantaged-OwnedBusiness Enterprise (DBE). Elizabeth City Housing Authority requires Comprehensive General Liability Insurance,$1,000,000.00 Business Auto Liabilitywith Elizabeth City Housing Authorityas additional insured; and, if applicable, according to North Carolina StateRegulations-Workers Compensation;$1,000,000.00 Employer's Liability. ECHA reserves the right to award thecontract on whatever single or combined basis as in the best interest to theAuthority, to accept or reject any or allproposals, and to waive technicalitiesand informalities. No proposal may bewithdrawn after the scheduled closingtime for the receipt of proposals for aperiod of thirty (30) days.
