The work contemplated will include procurement and installation of a 100KW diesel backup generator for the Durham County Northern Convenience Site located at 11894 North Roxboro Road, Rougemont, North Carolina, 27572. The work includes site preparation, installation of concrete pad, relocation of an existing generator tap box and installation of new panel, breaker, automatic and manual transfer switches and all related electrical work. Contractors who bid must be licensed to do work in the State of North Carolina under the Act to Regulate the Practice of General Contracting. The Contractor's North Carolina License number shall be designated on the outside of the envelope containing the bid. A 5% bid security is required with each bid that equals or exceeds $300,000.00. Bids will be evaluated and the Contract will be awarded in accordance with statutory public contract requirements as supplemented or altered by the Minority/Women Business Enterprise Utilization Ordinance of the County of Durham (MWBE).
