Renovation of a multi-residential development in Salamanca, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

Sealed Bids for: Renovations of Community Building Project: Renovations of Community Building Salamanca Housing Authority Salamanca, New York. The project consists of renovating the existing community building which contains a clinic for the Cattaraugus County Health Dept as well as offices for the Salamanca Housing Authority. The work shall consist of modifications to the building entrance vestibules, updating the clinic layout and renovating the public restrooms. The minimum wage rates to be paid to laborers and mechanics engaged in the construction of this project shall be the latest residential wage rates established by the Secretary of Labor and the State of New York.The Seneca Nation of Indians has enacted the Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance requiring all employers to address Indian preference in contracting, subcontracting, employment, and training on projects that take place within the exterior boundaries of the Allegany, Cattaraugus, and Oil Spring Reservations. A Compliance Plan addressing contracting, subcontracting, employment, and training must be negotiated with the Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) prior to commencing work on the reservations. In addition, there is a fee of 5% on contracts that are $50,000 or more. This fee applies to the gross contract amount and is payable when the Compliance Plan is negotiated. A principal of the Company must execute all bidding documents. A performance bond and material and payment bond equal to 100% of the contract bid amount will be required to be delivered at the time the contract is submitted to the Owner for execution. No bids may be withdrawn within 60 days of bid opening. The Salamanca Housing Authority reserves the right to waive any inconsistencies and to reject any or all bids. MBE (15%), WBE (15%)
