A Compliance Plan addressing contracting, subcontracting, employment, and training must be negotiated with the Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) prior to commencing work on the reservations. In addition, there is a fee of 5% on contracts that are $50,000 or more. This fee applies to the gross contract amount and is payable when the Compliance Plan is negotiated.
