Renovation of a multi-residential development in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Project consists of: o Demolition and proper disposal/recycling of existing asphalt shingles and underlayment, existing aluminum gutters and aluminum downspouts. o Installation of new asphalt shingle roofing system including but not limited to asphalt roof shingles, underlayment, aluminum drip edge, other sheet metal flashing, ridge vents, starter strips, nails and other fasteners, and plastic cement and other items required for a complete watertight installation. o Installation of new aluminum gutter system including but not limited to 6" aluminum gutters, aluminum downspouts, gutter guards and concrete splash blocks and other items required for a complete installation for proper roof drainage. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates) and made payable to the City or Town Housing Authority. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Architect. The Architect will answer such requests if received seven (7) calendar days before the date for receipt of the bids.
