The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Roofing, Mechanical, and Demolition construction. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. The existing roof system will be removed down to the structural roof deck. 2. New insulation would be installed to meet current code. 3. A new fully adhered EPDM roof system will be installed. 4. Mechanical curbs will be modified to accommodate additional insulation. 5. New sheet metal will be installed at penetrations and roof perimeters. This solicitation includes qualification requirements. Attachment C of the Response Form contains the qualification requirements for the solicitation. Qualification requirements include, but are not limited to: Responding company has completed as a Prime Contractor, not as a Subcontractor, the work for at least 3 contracts which have achieved Substantial Completion since January 1, 2021, for construction of flat roof replacement projects in a high security facility. Each of these contracts MUST have had a construction value of $600,000, or greater.
