A Certified Check, Or Bank Draft, Drawn On A Bank Trust Company Insured By The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Made Payable To The Owners Or A Satisfactory Bid Bond; Executed By An Acceptable Surely In The Amount Equal To Five Percent (5%) Of The Bid Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required To Furnish And Pay For Satisfactory Performance And Payment Bond(S) In The Amount Of 100% Of The Contract Amount. The Owner Reserves The Right To Reject Any Or All Bids And To Waive And Informalities In The Bidding. No Bids May Be Withdrawn For A Period Of Sixty (60) Days Subsequent To The Opening Of The Bids Without The Consent Of The Owner. The General Contractor Shall Be Required To Comply With The Equal Employment Requirements Of The Federal Government. The General Contractor Must Comply With All Requirements Of All Authorities Having Jurisdiction, As Applicable, Regarding Illegal Immigration And/or The Federal E-verify Program. Provide Signed Affidavit With Cost Proposal And Or Sealed Bid. The General Contract Must Comply With All Guidelines Of The Build America, Buy America Act (Babaa), Enacted As Part Of The Infrastructure Investment And Jobs Act On November 15, 2021. In Accordance With Section 3 Of The Us Department Of Housing & Urban Development Act Of 1968 And 24 Cfr Part 135, The Housing Authority Requires All Construction Contractors, The Great Extent Feasible, To Provide Training, Contracting, And Employment Opportunities To Low And Very-low Income Residents Residing In The Housing Authority Communities Or In The Housing Authority Jurisdiction Area. Attention Is Called To The Fact That Salaries Not Less Than The Davis-bacon Wage Rates As Published By The U.s. Department Of Labor And As Set Forth In The Specifications Must Be Paid On The Project. Please Address All Questions Regarding Plans And Specifications To Anthony Krumpach Of The Monroe Housing Authority.
