The following items must be included in the bid: 1. Price for chipping (one grind only) and removal of entire chip pile as it exists on OCTOBER 24, 2024. Brush/wood pile may be viewed during normal Transfer Station hours on Wednesdays, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. PLEASE STATE ONE PRICE FOR BOTH CHIPPING AND REMOVAL. 2. Wood chipped must be loaded immediately into trailers. No chips will be allowed to be stockpiled at site. 3. PROOF OF INSURANCE (LIABILITY, WORKER'S COMPENSATION, ETC.). 4. List of references we may contact. 5. All brush and wood must be chipped no matter the size. 6. Work area to be regraded and cleaned to Town's satisfaction. 7. Any additional brush received in between October 24, 2024 through completion date will be chipped and removed at no additional cost to the Town. 8. Work can only be done on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. No other days are allowable. Work hours are 7 a.m.-5 p.m. No hours earlier or later than those stated. 9. All wood chips to be disposed of at an approved site. Work must be completed within two (2) weeks of bid award. The Town of Haddam reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids.
