the City of Surprise, Arizona is accepting proposals for Water Distribution Optimization and Leak Detection Technology and Services The Estimated volume for this contract is $387,000.00 Question Deadline 10/21/2024 at 4:00 PM MT online submission. Scope of Work The materials and services supplied under this Contract shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, and the Contract shall maintain all applicable licenses and permits. V.A Additional Specifications The Citys Water Resource Department wishes to purchase a complete acoustic leak detection program. The system requirement includes a web-based software, leak detection equipment devices, and the installation services of the system devices. The technology is designed to listen for acoustic anomalies and collect data within piping systems to identify if a leak or break has occurred or is occurring. The purpose of the project is to eliminate water loss within the water distribution system resulting in an immediate improvement in water use reliability and contribute to long term reductions in system water use. Unknown system leaks will be detected and corrected in their infancy to prevent leaks from turning into significant line breaks or ruptures, thereby offering long term reductions in water use and making the entire water distribution system more reliable.
