The City of Moreno Valley is seeking professional consultant services for engineering design and landscape improvements. The scope of work includes asphalt pavement, curbs, gutters, crosswalks, sidewalks, driveways, access ramps, retaining curbs/walls, drainage, a decomposed granite (DG) walking path, median landscaping, streetlights, removals, relocations, striping, signage, and other related improvements on Steeplechase Drive from Ironwood Avenue north to Kalmia Avenue, and on the north side of Ironwood Avenue from Vista De Cerros Drive west to Lasselle Street. You are hereby invited to submit a proposal for providing professional consultant services related to engineering design and landscape improvements for the Steeplechase Drive Reconstruction / Ironwood Avenue to Kalmia Avenue project, on behalf of the Capital Projects Division. The selected consultant may be retained to serve the City through the construction phase, subject to City Council approval. Background Moreno Valley was incorporated in 1984 as a General Law City, merging the communities of Moreno, Sunnymead, and Edgemont. The City operates under a Council-Manager form of government. The City Council is comprised of an elected Mayor and four Council Members elected by district. The City has a committed customer-service oriented workforce comprised of more than 450 employees who provide a wide-range of municipal services including Public Works, Economic Development, Community Development, Parks and Community Services, Financial and Management Services and Library services. The City contracts with Riverside County for Police and Fire services. Questions & Answer Deadline: October 31, 2024, 2:00pm.
