Site work and paving for a civil project in Sedalia, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

All bids shall be submitted in the form of hard copy attached. The proposed work includes: Relocate Route HH on a new alignment from existing Route HH (terminus of Phase 1 Cedar Drive) to a new diamond interchange bridge over US 65; plus extend Route H north parallel to US 65 from west of existing at-grade intersection with US 65 to the new diamond interchange; plus a new outer road extending south from the interchange along the east side of US 65. This work will include construction of existing pavement removal, grading, excavation, embankment in place, storm structures, private entrances, fences, retaining walls, bridge and appurtenances. Bidding documents will be shipped only if the requesting party assumes responsibility for all related charges. Corporate, certified, or cashier's checks shall be made payable to Drexel Technologies, Inc. Any questions regarding the project, plans, specifications, or bid documents should be directed to Anderson Engineering, Inc., at 816-777-0400. All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid at a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (State Wage Rate). Pettis County Commission hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award." Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on public works project provide a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. A certified or cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. Pettis County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The DBE Goal for this project is __0__%. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project.
