Site work and paving for a civil project in Monticello, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
The Purpose of This Project is to Level and Overlay Approximately 6.513 Miles and Mill and Overlay Approximately 5.493 Miles of Selected Sections of Highway 425 in Drew County. This Project Consists of Removal and Disposal Items, Aggregate Base Course, Achm Surface Courses, Cold Milling Asphalt Pavement, Achm Patching of Existing Roadway, Maintenance of Traffic, Minor Drainage, Pavement Repair Over Culverts, Guardrail, Erosion Control, Rumble Strips and Stripes, Loop Wiring, Pavement Marking, and Misc. Items. Routes: 425 Sections: 3 & 4 County: Drew Length: 12.006 Miles in Length The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Complete This Contract on or Before November 26, 2025. The Percentage Goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (Dbe) Participation in This Project is 4.0%. Question Deadline 10/30/2024 - Questions pertaining to projects during the advertisement period should be addressed to the Program Management Division at pmd@ardot.gov. The deadline to submit a question isthe Wednesday prior to the scheduled letting date. A question submitted after the close of business on the Wednesday prior to the scheduled letting date may not receive a response. In order to have a bid considered, contractors must furnish a proposal guaranty consisting of either a bidder's bond or a certified or cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. In order for a bond to be acceptable to the Department, the company issuing the bond must be named in the Department of Treasury Listing of companies holding Certificates of Authority as acceptable sureties on Federal Bonds and as acceptable reinsuring companies. The Underwriting Limitation of the bonding company shall be adhered to. Any excess (between the face amount of the Bond and the Underwriting Limitation) shall be protected by reinsurance provided by an acceptable reinsuring company. These contracts are subject to normal prequalification, licensing and bonding requirements, applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws and other Federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Acts of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply. The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) complies with all civil rights provisions of federal statutes and related authorities that prohibit discrimination in programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance. Therefore, ARDOT does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, age, national origin, religion (not applicable as a protected group under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Title VI Program), disability, Limited English Proficiency (LEP), or low-income status in the admission, access to and treatment in ARDOTs programs and activities, as well as ARDOTs hiring or employment practices.
