The proposed demolition consists of three tanks, the final clarifier, primary clarifier, and old primary clarifier #2. The proposed demolition consists of three tanks, the final clarifier, primary clarifier, and old primary clarifier #2. See Exhibits A and B. The scope of the project is further detailed in Exhibit C. This written Request for Bids (RFB) states the scope of the City of Hays requirements and specifies the general rules for preparing the bid. The City of Hays shall reserve the right to enter into an agreement with the contractor presenting the bid proposal that is most advantageous to the City of Hays. This project shall be exempt from sales tax. Each tank will be handled as a separate bid item. The City of Hays will handle all KDHE permitting required.
