Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Corpus Christi, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 7,300-square-foot fire / police facility; for site work for a pipeline; and road / highway.

The scope of this proiject includes, but is not limited to, the following: Site work, paving and renovation of a 7,300-square-foot, one story above grade fire / police facility with associated site work for a pipeline and a raod / highway. As of October 25, 2024, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. The Northwest Police Sub-Station will be located on approximately two (2) acres at the entry of West Guth Park, 9517 Up River Road. The facility will be a one story structure with approximately 7,300 square feet of enclosed space that will be designed as a Risk Category IV. Foundation will be a suspended slab supported on drilled piers. Exterior walls shall be load bearing concrete masonry units supporting steel joist roof structure and modified bitumen membrane roof covering. Exterior finishes include CMU veneer, fiber cement composite panels and metal veneer panels. Spaces shall be divided by non-load bearing drywall partitions. Ceilings are a combination of suspended drywall and acoustical tile. Wet areas such as restrooms and showers will have ceramic/porcelain tile floor and wall finishes. Other interior finishes consist of vinyl plank flooring and carpet tile. Sitework includes asphalt and Concrete paving, underground utilities, landscape and irrigation. MEP services include roof top mounted air conditioners, domestic water, sanitary sewer and natural gas service. Electrical and telecommunications shall be underground service. The deadline to ask questions is 10/30/2024 4:00 PM CST Estimate: $6,000,000 It is the responsibility of the Contractor bidding the project to ensure the accuracy of the reproduction of all Bid Documents and Construction Drawings. This includes, but is not limited to, proper scaling, paper width and length, etc. Failure to do so may result in errors in the Unit Bid Quantities and or Bids Amounts. Sealed Bids may be submitted either (i) electronically using the online. Bidders are advised to refer to Request for Bids Section 5 of the bidding documents for a list of required bid submittals. Failure to submit or upload all required documents may result in an irregular or non-responsive bid submittal. This Police Substation in the Calallen area. The new substation is a 7,685 SF and must be geographically located in the Calallen area, support an estimated staff of 25 personnel, provide parking for 52 police vehicles, staff parking for 25 vehicles, and public parking for 12 vehicles. City own land in West Guth Park will be considered for the location of this substation.
