Sealed bids will be received by the Wayne County Clerk for supplying materials required to construct corrugated metal pipes with steel headwalls and wingwalls and other related incidental work at five sites. The project sites are located; C-90(679) - on 851 Road between 559 Avenue and 560 Avenue; C-90(680) - on 571 Avenue between 861 Road and 862 Road, both in Wayne County, Nebraska; C-59(794) - on 825 Road between 557 Avenue and 558 Avenue; C-59(946) - on 556 Avenue between 826 Road and 827 Road; C-59(947) - on 545 Avenue between 822 Road and 823 Road, all three in Madison County, Nebraska. The project is referred to as "STWDCBMP(7): C-90(679), C-90(680), C-59(794), C-59(946), & C-59(947)" and shall include all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment required to fabricate and deliver the materials to construct: C-90(679) - triple 108" x 47' corrugated metal pipes on a 10 deg. skew (rhb); C-90(680) - triple 108* x 53' corrugated metal pipe on a 40 deg. skew (rhb); C-59(794) - triple 120" x 52' corrugated metal pipes on a 0 deg. skew; C-59(946) - twin 96" x 40* corrugated metal pipes on a 0 deg. skew; C-59(947) - triple 108* x 48 corrugated metal pipes on a 30 deg. skew (rhb); all with steel headwalls and wingwalls. Along with its Bid Proposal, each bidder shall submit an unconditional Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the County Treasurer of County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the Bid Proposal. Also, each bidder is to include an estimated time of delivery for the materials with their Bid Proposal. The desired delivery date of the materials is twelve to fourteen weeks after the award of the contract. All materials shall be delivered to the respective project site. Within ten (10) days following the award of the Contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a surety bond or bonds in an amount equal to or greater than the full amount of the contract. The surety and form of the bonds are subject to acceptance by the Wayne County Board of Commissioners. The Wayne County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities in bids received. Award of the Contract will be in accordance with the County Purchasing Act's competitive bidding considerations as set forth in Neb.Rev.Stat. 23-3110 to 23-3114.
