Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Kahului, Hawaii. Conceptual plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for outdoor lighting for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

The project scope includes the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and other engineering reports needed for the site clearing and infrastructure work needed to support a future fuel rack at OGG (the design of the fuel rack itself is not part of this solicitation). Improvements and preparation may include, but are not limited to, area grading to the same level as the existing adjacent airport cargo facilities, extension of underground fuel lines and utilities to the prepared site, construction of a vehicle roadway between the new fuel rack and aircraft apron, extending the existing apron and drain lines to the south immediately fronting the cargo facility, new apron lighting, new apron edge lighting, new Air Operation Area (AOA) security fencing, new AOA gate, utility relocation work, and access roadway intersection improvements. Hazardous materials may be encountered within the project limits. These services are anticipated to be immediately required, and the completion of design plans, specifications, cost estimates, and associated reports shall be due within ONE-THOUSAND EIGHTHUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE (1,825) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The contract shall be a Lump Sum contract in accordance with HAR 3-122-136, with an overall contract time of performance of five (5) years.
