Site work for a transportation facility in Sylvania, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The proposed work consists of: Reconstruction of Main Street between Monroe Street and Maplewood Avenue in the City of Sylvania, Lucas County, Ohio. The project includes resurfacing of Maplewood Avenue between Main Street and Summit Street. This project includes the construction of asphalt pavement, drainage, sanitary sewer, waterline, traffic control, lighting, and streetscape elements. Question Deadline 10/31/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to Engineer. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The City of Sylvania reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in any bid, to determine the lowest and best bidder, and to waive any informalities in bidding. . A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in this booklet. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.) 2. A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in favor of the City of Sylvania in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. Upon acceptance of the work, a one year maintenance bond in the amount of 25% of the contract will be required to guarantee such work. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids.
