The City of Muskogee, Public Works Department, is soliciting responses to a Request for Statement of Qualifications (SOQ), to provide Professional Consultant Services for a drainage study located in the Upper Coody Creek Drainage Basin with an emphasis on a parcel of property located at the southeast corner of the intersection of 34 th Street and Denver Street as it pertains to the installation of a regional detention pond. The drainage study will be conducted to determine the feasibility of the detention pond. The engineering firm who is successful in the selection of the drainage study will then be tasked with the design of the detention pond. The professional team can include, but is not limited to: engineers, scientists, and other staff responsible for the drainage study and design of the detention pond. The SOQ submittal will be evaluated on: The firm's experience with similar projects Verifiable references Firm's organization, qualifications, and resume Description of three (3) projects of similar scope for local or regional governmental agencies. Muskogee Medical District Drainage Study and Detention Pond Project Scope of Work: The project located at the southeast corner of Denver and Hancock, Muskogee, OK 74403, entails the study of the Upper Coody Creek drainage basin on the west side of the City of Muskogee, as well as the feasibility of a regional detention pond at the project location to collect storm water that will be piped underground in a separate but related EDA Project in which the reconstruction of Denver Street and S. 36 th Street will occur. The detention pond, if feasible, will be designed by the selected firm. Event bid note: The response shall be limited to twenty single sided pages excluding cover letter, table of contents, and tabs or section dividers. Five (5) copies of the SOQ, a signed statement of qualifications affidavit, and one (1) flash drive of the entire submittal in a PDF format will be received by Avery Rigney, Assistant Public Works Director, for the City of Muskogee, 301 S. Cherokee St., Muskogee, OK 74403, The cover letter of interest must identify a contact person for questions during the SOQ process and provide contact information including telephone number, email, and postal address. The City of Muskogee Public Works Oversight Committee will review the submittals. The City of Muskogee reserves the sole right to evaluate the submittal, waive any irregularities therein, select candidates for submittal of proposals, and/or interviews, or reject any and all firms that submitted should it be deemed for its best interest.
