Scope of work includes installation of a two ply modified bitumen roof membrane system. 1. Two ply Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS)-modified bituminous membrane roofing. a. SBS Base sheet adhered in cold applied adhesive. b. SBS Cap Sheet adhered in cold applied adhesive. Cool Roof Rating Council rated, modified bitumen cap sheet. Coated granule sheets are not permitted. 2. SBS Cap Sheet: Cool Roof Rating Council rated, modified bitumen cap sheet. Coated granule sheets are not permitted. 3. Roof Insulation. 4. Wind Resistance Design Pressures. 5. Warranty. 6. Installation of roof walkways around all curb mounted equipment and at all roof access points and ladders. The project will be a new 100,000 SF building built on the existing campus of Aiken Technical College. The building will house all of the school districts CATE classes inclusive of childcare, EMS, welding, shop, digital media, fashion design, barber-cosmetology, administrative offices, health science, megatronics, etc. The building structure consist of load bearing CMU walls, slab on grade, slab on deck, poured in place concrete retaining walls, and bar joists/decking structure. The building shell consists of brick veneer, storefront, metal panels, spray foam insulation, and storefront/aluminum windows. The building finishes consist of epoxy flooring, LVT, carpet, epoxy paint, acoustical ceilings, drywall and framing, hollow metal and wood doors, casework, science casework, etc.
