Renovation of an educational facility in Jupiter, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project scope includes repair and renovation for the roofing of six (6) existing buildings. The roof will be demolished down to existing metal decking, replacing any damaged portions as required and install new Soprema Two-Ply Modified Roofing Membrane System with asphalt bitumen and modified bitumen granule cap sheet and insulation over existing metal decking as required by District Master Specification 07 52 00. Question Deadline 11/11/2024 at 2:00 PM ET Remove existing lightning protection system and replace and recertify with a new system. Provide design and shop drawings submittal by qualified delegate engineer licensed and certified in the state of Florida as “Lightning Protection Specialist”. Project Location :Independence Middle School 4001 Greenway Drive Jupiter, Fl 33458 Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the amount of $185,000.00. The Guarantee shall be in the form of either a Bid Bond or Cashier’s Check payable to The School District of Palm Beach County. All Bidders must be licensed pursuant to Chapter 489 Florida Statutes . The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond. No Bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing for receipt of Bids for a period of 60 days. The Board or its designee reserves the right to waive minor technicalities and irregularities in all Bids.
