Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

This work will consist of the removal and replacement of concrete sidewalks and pavement, removal and replacement of curb and gutter, removal and replacement of bituminous pavement, removal and replacement of existing paver bricks, removal and replacement of sand and aggregate base and assorted excavation. The locations for this work are shown in the Contract Documents. This work shall be to the requirements as indicated in the Contract Specifications. This work will be administered and directed by Public Works. Village of Arlington Heights will be performing site supervision during the time of the project. Bidders shall comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Act (820 ILCS 130/). All proposals or bids offered must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid in the form of a certified check, bid bond or cashier's check made payable to the Village of Arlington Heights. No bids shall be considered unless accompanied by such security. This meeting provides an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the project location, ask questions, and request additional information. The Village will not be responsible for any misunderstandings or misrepresentations regarding project conditions unless such details are specifically incorporated into the contract. No additional allowances will be granted due to a lack of knowledge or understanding of the site conditions. The Village of Arlington Heights reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities in bidding and to accept the proposal deemed by the Board of Trustees to be the most favorable to the interests of the Village. An Affidavit of Availability must be submitted with the proposal, showing all uncompleted contracts awarded to them and all low bids pending award from Federal, State, County, Municipal and private work.
