The scope of work is limited to one (1) athletic field, consisting of approximately 100,000 square feet of synthetic turf area. Project Location: Florida State University, Pennell Circle, Tallahassee, FL 32310. The Playing Field Contractor shall be required to provide all the necessary costs, transportation, qualified construction supervision, site demolition, install all the necessary synthetic turf system profile components, fixed athletic equipment, new synthetic turf product, infill mix ratio, cooling technology product, skilled labor, professional land surveying, construction stakeouts, all as-built surveys, specialized construction equipment, fuel, 3rd party independent soil laboratory testing, laboratory sampling, collection, shipping, subsurface field base construction, subsurface drainage collection system, perimeter concrete header curbing, pressure-treated wooden nailer boards, stainless steel anchors, filter fabric, all solid, slotted, and perforated piping, in-line drainage basins, hard watertight connections, drainage gravel aggregate, finished topping stone aggregate and planarity, color layout and material plan, seaming plan, synthetic turf adhesive products, inlaid field markings, specialized sports equipment, specialized maintenance equipment and training, as-built surveys of the final compacted subgrade, subsurface drainage collection system, drainage gravel layer, finished topping stone, letter of acceptance from the approved synthetic turf manufacturer for topping stone surface planarity, 3rd party independent final surface infiltration testing, 3rd party independent G-max/H.I.C. field testing based on the highest intended athletic sports field usage, and the final surface grading in accordance with the contract documents. All bidders are fully responsible for all cut and fill calculations and provide all the quantities of materials necessary for the delivery of a complete synthetic turf athletic playing field in accordance with the final contract documents.
