The City of Tallahassee is seeking a qualified contractor interested in providing wastewater infrastructure construction services for the ORANGE AVENUE AND OLD ST AUGUSTINE ROAD FORCE MAIN REHABILITATION PROJECT, as outlined in these contract documents. The associated work includes the carrying out of all duties and obligations and the furnishing of all labor, material, tools, equipment, permitting, and other incidentals necessary or convenient to the successful completion of the project. This project generally consists of replacing two segments of 42-inch Ductile Iron wastewater force main totaling approximately 2,500 linear feet, within public right-of-way and City utility easement, extending from the south side of Orange Avenue to Old St. Augustine Road. The work includes a temporary 30-inch bypass piping system to maintain service through the project area. Other proposed improvements include removal of existing pipe and appurtenances, furnishing and installation of 42-inch DR 21 PVC, installation of one (1) 42-inch MJ Plug Valve to be provided by the City, furnishing and installation of two (2) Air Release Valve assemblies with manholes, roadway/landscaping/ground surface restoration, and additional related items as identified in the Contract documents.
