As of August 18, 2025, this project is nearing completion. The approximate project budget is between approximately $350,000 and $600,000. The scope of the Project is likely to include, but not necessarily limited to: site preparation, constructing, furnishing, and installing new playground equipment, field turf, site improvements, and related infrastructure at Hamlow Elementary and/or Waverly Intermediate School. The letters of interest will be used by the School District to prequalify at least three prospective design-builders, except that if only two prospective design-builders submit letters of interest, then the School District will prequalify both responsive designbuilders. All prequalified design-builders will receive Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and will then be required to provide more detailed qualifying information as required by state law and School District policy. The design-builder selected by the School District will enter a design-build contract with the School District to furnish (a) architectural, engineering, and related design services for a project pursuant to the act and (b) labor, materials, supplies, equipment, and construction services for a project pursuant to the Nebraska Political Subdivisions Construction Alternatives Act, Neb. Rev. Stat. 13-2901 to 13- 2914. At a minimum, the Letter of Interest must include your firm name and contact information; a statement of your qualifications and performance data, your capabilities to perform, your past record and performance, and your experience with similar projects; the resumes of key team members and adequacy of your personnel; your bonding capacity and insurance coverage; references; and any other information that you feel is appropriate.
