Renovation of an educational facility in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
1.1 The District is requesting SOQs for Construction Manager at Risk Services to renovate the existing Westbrook Elementary School. Westbrook Elementary School is located at 1312 Robertson Drive, Omaha, Nebraska. 1.2 The renovation will include facade replacement, HVAC upgrades and restroom accessibility upgrades. Sustainable design and construction practices will be used to optimize the learning environment; however LEED certification will not be pursued. Maintaining project timelines and budget will be of the upmost importance. 1.3 While this project is under construction the staff and students will remain in the current facility. Draft phasing plans are included in Attachment "E". These are a reference to assist in the development of final phasing plans by the Construction Manager.
