The scope of work generally consists of the replacement of approximately 609 (5/8" X 3/4") meters, 8 (2") meters, and 1 (4") meter with smart meters and advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) implementation/integration with the City's existing billing system, including all materials, equipment, labor and incidentals to complete the work as required by the plans and specifications and as necessary to complete the work. Performance and Payment Bonds, Requires all prime contractors which enter into a formal contract in excess of $25,000 with the State, any department, board, agency, municipality, county, school district or any division or subdivision thereof, to obtain a Payment Bond in the amount of the contract before commencing with work and a performance bond for public works contracts in excess of $100,000. The owner reserves the right to consider as unqualified to do the work any proposer who does not habitually perform with his own forces the major portions of the work involved in construction of the improvements embraced in this contract.
